As you are aware, the Dubbo School of Distance Education site has been non-operational as a precaution due to a member of the school community who tested positive to COVID-19.
The NSW Department of Education and NSW Health have been working closely to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff is maintained.
NSW Health have confirmed that this person has not had any close contact with staff or students at our school and was not involved with any school activities.
The school has been thoroughly cleaned and our school will be operational from Tuesday 17 August 2021 only for any child who is unable to learn from home.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students is of paramount importance to us at all times. As such we will continue to work closely with NSW Health to ensure that all necessary health advice is adhered to.
