Dress Code

Appropriate Clothing and Footwear Policy

It is mandatory for students and staff participating in practical activities to wear appropriate clothing and footwear to comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.

As part of the Dubbo School of Distance Education Clothing and Footwear Policy, students attending lessons, workshops, camps or excursions are required to wear the following style of clothing and shoes to ensure their safety and comfort whilst providing protection from injury:

  • Clothing appropriate to weather conditions
  • Clothing appropriate to the class being attended e.g. Science or Technology
  • Clothing with appropriate coverage of body parts (e.g. no midriff tops or short shorts)
  • Footwear that is sturdy and fully enclosed with no toe or heel openings
